West Carroll Architecture has evolved into a nationally recognized, design-oriented architectural firm with headquarters in Sylvania, Ohio. Carroll, AIA, the firm has enjoyed continued success. Mr. West, who for 27 years was president and CEO of SSOE Inc. Engineers and Architects, recently retired and is currently a consultant to the firm. Kevin Carroll, President & CEO, received his BS in Architectural Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. Mr. Carroll has been directly responsible for the design and planning of hundreds of projects –institutional, recreation, retail, healthcare and residential--and is the driving force in developing creative approaches to architectural challenges. Professionally involved, Kevin has served as President of the Toledo chapter of the American Institute of Architects and its Design Awards Committee as well as the Ann Arbor-based Construction Innovation Forum, recognized around the world for identifying, investigating and recognizing innovations in the construction industry through the Nova Awards. WestCarroll Architecture has received numerous design awards, including a feature on HGTV-Dream Builders. In addition, WCA was recognized for their residential design portfolio in “Leading Residential Architects” the first book in The Perfect Home Series published by Sandow Media.
